Powerball's format has changed twice: 5 numbers (1996–2013), 6 numbers (2013–2018), then the current 7 numbers + Powerball (since Apr 2018). All eras are shown here for reference; game suggestions and frequency stats use current-format draws only.
What these counts mean: this shows what has happened, not what's likely to happen next. Powerball draws are independent — the machine has no memory of past draws — so a number's draw count so far has no bearing on whether it comes up next time. With this many draws, small differences in frequency are expected random variation, not a signal.
All 35 main numbers — draw frequency (current format)
"Hot", "cold" and "overdue" are labels, not predictions. It's a common intuition that a cold number is "due" to appear soon, or a hot number is "on a streak" — but each draw is a fresh, independent event. A main number's odds next draw are exactly 1-in-35 (and the Powerball 1-in-20) whether it's currently the hottest or coldest on this page.
